About Us.
WHITE HEAT STUDIOS is a Mastering Studios based in Liverpool, UK ran by Tom Verne, a mastering engineer with years of experience of delivering top quality masters.
Mastering goes far beyond simply adjusting levels and limiting, despite what automated AI tools might have you believe. A proper master creates a solid sonic foundation, enhances the natural flow and progression of your music, and carefully preserves and elevates the unique character of your performance. Each element requires a musical understanding and careful attention to detail. That is what White Heat Studios is all about!
White Heat specialises in the mastering of Rock, Folk & Jazz music. However, all kinds of music are welcome and Tom approaches each mix differently depending on the genre in mind.
The studio has been recently equipped with a 7.1.2 speaker setup and so we are now able to provide ‘Immersive Audio’ masters of even greater depth and clarity.
